Covert narcissists are ubiquitous believe it or not. There are two main types of narcissists. We have a covert and overt narcissist. The overt is easily detectable while the covert is virtually undetectable.

I’ve been in a toxic relationship such as this one involving a covert narcissist and it was quite the experience let me tell you. They’re like chameleons. They blend right in their respective milieu.

They know just how to love bombs too! Say the right things.

It wasn’t until the bitter end I found out what this person was. The mask fell off. The true colours revealed. It was quite the shocker. I was hurt deeply for I was betrayed.

The typical playbook is love bomb, honeymoon, and devalue/discard. And move on to the next and repeat. These individuals have no soul and leech off of empaths for they have no true identity and self-love.

Narcissists usually suffer from childhood trauma. So they’re emotionally arrested so to speak. Whatever age they suffered is where they shall remain for the remainder of their physical existence.

They can’t introspect so they blame others for their wrongdoing. No accountability whatsoever.
