Sticks and stones can break my bones but words never hurt??? Sure it can. Words, as we know them, are a universal language we all share to communicate. It gets our point across whether for good, bad, or indifferent.

The way you speak can have a major impact on the outcome of your interaction(s). If we have a calm, cool demeanour, our cadence and intonation of our voice regardless if we’re upset can yield tangible results.

If you speak out of anger, your words can hurt someone deeply, indelibly, and negatively. If we don’t check how we speak to people, someone very adroit can come along and use our emotions against us.

Words tote weight. If you say you can’t do something, more than likely you won’t succeed. You program yourself with negative verbiage. Can’t is a taught behaviour. The human mind is tantamount to computer software.

You can program or deprogram for the better or for the worst. A baby isn’t born racist, that is a learned behaviour absorbed by the mind via media, video games, home life, etc.

A doctor once did a study with plants and ice. He yelled at one group of plants and spoke benevolently to another. The one group he yelled at grew asymmetrically and the other blossomed.
