The definition of time
Now there was a time….
Time is a manmade construct that involves the movements of the sun, moon, and stars.
This is how the sundial works pictured above. It tracks the movements of our celestial bodies.
With this, we have solar time, sidereal time, and lunar time. Time as we know it is an illusion.
But just what is this “time?” Here let me put it this way:
Time is slow when you wait!
Time is fast when you’re late!
Time is deadly when you are sad!
Time is short when you are euphoric!
Time is endless when you are in pain!
Time is long when you feel bored!
Time is Most Beautiful when you are in love!
Every time is determined by your feelings and your psychological conditions and not by clocks.
I know this may seem far-fetched but it makes utter sense once you realize that time is just the present moment.
Time isn’t measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.
