Redesigned iPhone 18 Pro Moves Camera to Top Left, Hides Face ID Under Display.

A recent rumor from The Information states that in 2026, Apple will reportedly remodel the iPhone 18 Pro models. The change would include relocating the Face ID sensors under the screen and moving the camera to the top-left corner of the display.

Wait, there is more.

The top-center area has long been occupied by the notch or Dynamic Island to house Face ID components, proximity bient light sensors. According to a rumor, Apple plans to place all those sensors immediately beneath the display panel in the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

All of these fancy terms to describe a much-needed overhaul on the fruit company's flagship phone.

According to an insider, this makes room for a far more streamlined appearance, with just one hole punched for the front camera, which is now clearly located in the upper left corner.

Relocating the camera cutout to the upper left corner and concealing the sensors would significantly lessen the visual distraction on the screen. While several phone manufacturers have experimented with placing sensors under the screen, the results have been less than ideal.
