Quick Charging with 45W USB-C is Available on All iPhone 16 Models!
It is that time of year for the fruit company. The Idevice’s compared to the previous generation’s maximum charging speeds of approximately 29W, all four of Apple’s new iPhone 16 models appear to enable USB-C fast charging at 45W.
How cool is that?
Apple unveiled the revised charging specification as part of its product certification with the China Quality Certification Centre. While browsing ShrimpApplePro, WHYLAB found the device certificates and uploaded them on Weibo.
After passing the national quality certification, the iPhone 16 series is now available in four variants. The fastest model supports 45W fast charging, an improvement over last year’s 29W model.
Personally, I will stick to my old method of charging for I find these fast chargers too immense for long-term use. The high-powered chargers age the batteries faster. We shall see.
