A spiritual lesson
I know it seems impolite to turn people away from your home. Your spot should be YOUR sanctuary, zen den, man cave or whatever it is you deem fit. Suffice it to say this is your safe zone.
When you let people in, you not only invite the physical being that’s present in your eyes, but their energy/spirits as well. Learn to guard your space for it’s imperative that you do. People don’t necessarily have to rob you of your material possessions but can rob you of your joy, peace, faith, and love.
Let people earn their way to your comfort zone like you would reward a dog or child when a good deed was performed. Your happiness depends on this very attitude. It starts with learning to say no. Once you become comfortable with hearing it come from your mind/mouth, it becomes somewhat easier with time.
In order for us to see change we must first change the way we think. Reality creation is an inside job.
