My thoughts about the movie “Maverick”
This is my story and I am sticking to it
With everything that is going on in the world, I was hoping for some sort of blockbuster this year.
The movie industry has been rather lackluster lately.
Personally, I could not tell you when was the last time a movie performed well, maybe John Wick Chapter 3?
Maverick critics
For starters, I have to say this movie right here was a sleeper.
This is a sequel to a movie that was created 36 years prior.
I did not have high hopes for this flick albeit the franchise kept its star, Tom Cruise.
Tom reprised his role as the protagonist “Maverick” and I must say, he has aged quite well.
Not unless his face was CGI similar to Paul Walker’s in the movie, Fast 7.

So, Maverick did what he does best and took a seat in a fighter jet and flew over the box office with high numbers.
Now according to the critics, he was not supposed to get the love he had once received from Top Gun due to the movie's synopsis.
And what do I mean by synopsis?
