Let the battle commence! This topic I am sure has been discussed over and over. But, this is a solid question though. We shall compare the two.

Long-form

This method is archaic but it tells its story. With this method, you can incorporate more detail in your blog/story/article.

There’s no limit to the number of words utilized throughout, it keeps the audience immersed more (depending on how well it was written), makes time appear to elapse faster due to how engaged the reader is or it can work against them.

Google also enjoys long-form content for the exact reason I stated above with audience engagement. And again, this could backfire as well.

For me, it doesn’t look forced or just arbitrary words were written to fill a blank page. It has a deeper meaning and is more authentic.

These are the only things I can come up with for long-form. The only downside for me is the engagement part. Humans, as we know, can have the attention span of a fish.

Learning for me works better than chopping it up. Similar to writing a blog and making sure it's scan-able for readers.

No one wants to read a bunch of jumbled-up words in a paragraph. It is too visceral.
