I’ve got some beef with Amazon KDP
Who else can relate to this?
Is it me or does Amazon have beef with me? I have posted a slew of children’s coloring and maze books on there in the past couple of months.
The issue is, that not only do you have to wait a couple of days for approval, but the errors they tell you to correct are also quite nebulous.
For me, it’s been my title and book covers. I am slowly learning about the Copywrite issues that go along with uploading books for KDP.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the hell out of creating these low-content books for the public but I wish that Amazon will cease being so persnickety.
This stuff takes time. LITERALLY! Between making the guts for the book and creating the cover and inventing a title for your product for distribution.
Other than those issues, this is a nice side hustle to venture into. With each book that sells, you’ll receive royalties.
The best ones that sell are the ebook types. You’ll have an option to make paperbacks. I try to do both but most of mine are paperback.
If anyone is interested in this, it doesn’t hurt or cost you a boat load of money to commence.
