For some, I bet you hardly came across this acid for no one hardly speaks on it

Phytic acid is a type of organic compound that is found in plant seeds.

It is an essential component of plant cell walls, and it plays a role in storing phosphorus and other minerals.

Phytic acid is also known as inositol hexakisphosphate (IP6).

In humans, phytic acid is not well absorbed. When phytic acid enters the digestive system, it binds to minerals such as calcium, iron, and zinc.

This reduces the absorption of these minerals by the body. Phytic acid has been shown to decrease the bioavailability of minerals by up to 50%.

Phytic acid is found in a variety of plant-based foods, including grains, beans, nuts, and seeds.

It is also added to some processed foods, such as breakfast cereals and energy bars.

While phytic acid has several health benefits, it can also have negative effects on the body.

When consumed in large amounts, it can bind to essential minerals and reduce their absorption. This can lead to mineral deficiencies and other health problems.
