Is balance truly key to a harmonious life
Who needs balance 😜
When we delve into our daily life, we can be inundated with what life has in store for us. We wake up, take a piss, brush our teeth and prepare for what lies ahead on our cosmic trajectory.
Sometimes, we take on too much. We essentially write checks we can’t cash and this eventually will lead to burnout, irritability, depression, and the gamut of feelings that comes with disharmony.
Why is balance important? Well for starters, look at a toddler learning to walk. Each attempt at trying to walk, the toddler falls but gets back up to fortify its form and retain balance.
Same with riding a bike, no balance, no harmony. The same philosophy applies to our daily lives no matter what it is we’re doing. You work too much, burnout. You read too much, burnout, and on and on it goes with this domino effect.
Having balance can restore peace and tranquility both in the physical and spiritual realm. We can feel it essentially. It’s tantamount to having a day off after working a sequential amount of hours.
I know for sure when I was working at the hospital pre vaxxxtermination I was working four days a week with overtime each shift. So my three days off were recovery days to do what I needed to do.
