With watchOS 9.4, Apple enables users to delete built-in applications on the Apple Watch. Today, the company updated a support document that explains the change.

You can delete some built-in Apple applications from your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch if you have iOS 14 or later, iPadOS, or watchOS 9.4 or later. When you remove an installed program from your device, you remove any associated user data and configuration files. This may impact related system operations or information on your Apple Watch.

Apps that can be deleted on Apple Watch

You can delete these apps straight from your Apple Watch if you have watchOS 9.4 or later:

● Activity
● Depth
● Emergency Siren
● Find My
● Heart Rate
● Maps
● Wallet
● Workout
● World Clock

How to delete built-in apps

1. Press the Digital Crown to show all your apps on the Home Screen.
2. Touch and hold the display until the View Options screen appears.
3. Tap Edit Apps.
4. Tap the Delete button on the app you want to delete, then tap Delete App to confirm.
5. Press the Digital Crown to finish.

When you remove a built-in app from your Apple Watch that is also on your iPhone, such as Contacts, the app remains on your iPhone.

Is this cool or what? We all know how much the fruit company can be control freaks; however, the fruit company boasts the best ecosystem to date.
