Hey, you! That’s right. YOU. How are you doing today? Did we forget to water ourselves with a positive affirmation? Or being thankful for one thing this fine autumn day? If not, what are you afraid of?
Fear is all in our heads. Fear is ubiquitous this day in age. Everywhere we turn we see fear staring right back in our faces. Some formidable energy that pervades our reality and even our very own minds.
Fear stands for a few things: face everything and rise, forget everything and run, false emotions appearing real. Whatever it is, fear has us marked in a multitude of ways but the only way to contain it, or rather, conquer this demon is to face it.
During my time off from being unplugged from the matrix i.e. medical field for me, I have been on a long trajectory to self-discovery. I have had to face my fears of being financially independent.
So far, I am doing well taking it one step at a time. I am here to convey to the reader that whatever it is you’re going thru, it is transient. Don’t give up on yourself, your desires, dreams for time can’t be replaced, but money can.
How to Conquer Fear
Everyone fears something; the only difference is the ‘something.’ Everyone has their own personal fear, whether it be snakes, ghosts, heights…the list goes on and on. I am no exception to this rule.
Among other things, I am afraid of people who are rude to me (especially when they don’t even know me). I’m not sure why this fear developed, but it’s definitely there.
Despite this fear, however, I have been able to conquer it. How? Well, it’s not easy, that’s for sure. But here are a few tips that might help:
1. Acknowledge your fear. Don’t downplay it or try to deny that it’s there (even though you can’t see it). Once you acknowledge your fear, the process of conquering the fear will start.
2. Figure out why you’re afraid in the first place. Is there a reason for this fear? If so, make an effort to resolve this problem. This is not the same as confronting your fear. For example, if you’re afraid of people who are rude to you, don’t confront them head-on (unless there’s a really good…
