This may seem strange but hear me out. Being alone has its merits whether you need to decompress, need silence to think, cool down, or deescalate and many other reasons.

You cannot accomplish this being around people 24/7. For some, it is arduous because of the inner chatter that goes on inside one's head or the silence.

However, some that say I am fine without me-time are the ones in denial.

They are the ones that can benefit from solitary moments in life to become more intimately acquainted.

Take a much-needed break from tech as well i.e. social media, work, etc.

Solitude helps you to get to know what you are made of

When you are with a group, you are more inclined to follow the herd so to speak.

More than likely, that is not what you were thinking. Solitude life does not bring complications or judgment.

You are free to be unapologetically you. The more time spent alone, the more you will discover what your strengths and weaknesses are.

Your self-awareness is increased and you become more authentic, and self-validating.
