With all of the chaos as of late, I would like to bequeath some positivity to those that are in need. Here are some simple life hacks to incorporate if you haven’t already.

Dopamine.

This hormone is in direct relation to the brain. It is responsible for making you feel happy.

Stimulate it by:

  • Eat sweets once in a while.
  • Complete a task.
  • Rest up.
  • Self-care activities i.e. shower/bathe, hobbies, positive affirmations.

Serotonin.

A mood-stabilizing hormone that can aid with sleep, feeling less anxious, and being happier overall.

Stimulate it by:

  • Meditation.
  • Walking.
  • Cardio.
  • Vitamin D or sun exposure.

Oxytocin.

This hormone is dubbed “the bonding hormone.” Secreted when we feel connected to people around us.

Stimulate this by:

  • Socializing on a frequent basis.
  • Pets.
